Business Development - Assistant Manager

Responsibilities
  • To manage and develop existing and new general insurance business from agents and brokers in order to achieve target production income
  • To conduct marketing activities of insurance related products for corporate, commercial and retail customers in order to achieve business targets
  • To build and manage the portfolio of insurance customers, prepare insurance quotations and handle renewal of insurance policies
  • To be responsible for the provision of quality after-sales services and co-ordination with relevant parties to promote other products and services

Requirements
  • Degree holder, preferably with professional insurance qualifications
  • Over 5 years relevant work experience
  • Sound communication and negotiation skills
  • Good interpersonal skill and technical knowledge
  • Good spoken and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Officer / Officer


Claims - Manager

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and approve Motor, EC, Property & other classes of insurance claims within the pre-set authority and provide appropriate commentary, recommendations and justifications to Head of Claims to seek for approval when necessary
  • Monitor case reserves and their adequacy
  • Assist Head of Claims in managing and supervising the daily operation of Claims Department
  • Complaint handling and resolving pre-litigation cases/disputes without resort to trial
  • Provide coaching and guidance to claims colleagues, motivate and keep engaged throughout large and complex injury cases
  • Conduct legal research when needing court opinions and Uniformização de Jurisprudência to back up a legal argument
  • Minimize the overall turnaround time of claims processing
  • Maintain effective and good relationship with stakeholders
  • Maintain and improve operational efficiency and productivity

Requirements
  • Degree holder (Law or related disciplines preferred)
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in adjusting Motor, EC, Property & Other Classes of Insurance claims and/or litigation / legal related area
  • Good negotiation, problem solving, complaint handling, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to interact with people at all levels
  • Ability to be multi-task and work under pressure
  • Strong sense of responsibility with high level of integrity and trust
  • Strong communication skills in speaking, reading and writing in English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin being a distinct advantage
  • A strong knowledge of Macau legal / regulatory requirements, guideline on AML / CFT controls, and litigation procedures, as well as experience in negotiation and mediation are definitely an advantage
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Claims Manager


Compliance - Senior Officer / Officer

Responsibilities
  • Develop, organize and update company policies and procedures
  • Provide staff training on procedural, control and regulatory topics
  • Monitor and assure the quality of externally oriented materials
  • Carry out due diligence controls and thematic compliance reviews
  • Keep track of regulatory developments and produce reports & statistics
  • Participate in, carry out or coordinate ad-hoc compliance projects and tasks

Requirements
  • University graduate or above
  • Legal background or holder of relevant professional qualifications an advantage
  • Experience in risk, legal & compliance functions and/or insurance an advantage
  • Good command of English and Chinese
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Articulated, self-motivated, fast learning and able to work under pressure


Information Technology - Manager / Officer

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate functional enhancement and development projects
  • Execute application and database programming, administration and documentation
  • Lead or assist in system infrastructure, operations and network administration duties
  • Oversee development & operational processes and maintain related documentations
  • Execute internal control and reporting for management, compliance and regulatory purposes
  • Assist in formulation and execution of company and functional strategies

Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science or related fields with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Good command of written / spoken English and Chinese
  • Organized, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL, node.js and .Net technology is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms, networking and system security is an advantage
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g. MSCE, CISA/CISM) and experience in project management and network administration are an advantage

Underwriting and Reinsurance - Senior Officer

Responsibilities
  • To assess and review underwriting risks of general insurance products

  • To prepare statistics and reports for management and regulatory purposes

Requirements
  • Degree holder or above; holder or progress in relevant professional qualification e.g. ANZIIF/ACII preferred
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in insurance industry

Underwriting and Reinsurance - Manager

Responsibilities
  • To deputize the Head of Underwriting and Reinsurance in insurance risk portfolio management
  • To monitor the execution of the company’s underwriting policies
  • To assess and review underwriting risks of general insurance products
  • To manage underwriting and policy services to producers, reinsurers and other counterparties

Requirements
  • Degree holder or above; holder in relevant professional qualification e.g. ANZIIF/ACII preferred
  • Minimum 8 years relevant working experience in insurance industry

Administration Manager / Officer
